Teeth whitening procedures are fast, effective and give you a long-lasting brighter smile all within a lunch hour. It’s always smart to talk to your dentist first, and get the best advice on which procedure best suits your situation. The thickness and condition of your teeth’s enamel will be assessed and the appropriate course of action recommended.
At our clinic, we offer two types of teeth whitening.
Veneers can transform a single tooth or a whole smile, capable of dramatically improving the look, colour and shape of a damaged or discoloured tooth. Using lab-made dental porcelain or a composite, the veneer is created, positioned and bonded to the tooth so that it appears completely natural.
Durable, life-like and comfortable, veneers are a safe, fast and extremely effective way to restore or improve a tooth to its very best. Each veneer is custom-made for a perfect fit on to the tooth. With precision craftsmanship, the veneers can even be shaped to lengthen or shorten specific teeth if necessary for an even finish.
Unlike the natural enamel on our teeth, porcelain veneers are resistant to stains and discolouration, meaning your smile won’t fade.
How it worksWhite, or composite fillings, are a cosmetic procedure used to fill and repair tooth cavities in just the same way as silver amalgam fillings. White fillings are also used to treat diastema - spaces or gaps between teeth. They’re designed to match the natural teeth around them to preserve the natural look of your smile. White fillings are mercury-free and require less drilling than amalgam, helping to preserve more of the natural tooth.

When teeth appear too large, too small or wide, gingivoplastic surgery is performed to enhance the shape and contour of the gums for aesthetic purposes. Equally, puffy gums or a ‘gummy’ smile can cause unnecessary self-consciousness - yet it is an easy, quick and simple procedure correct this, requiring no sutures.
During a pre-procedure visit, the dentist will discuss the whole process to ensure your comfort. After an assessment of your gums, you’ll review where the perfect ‘trimming line’ will be together, and then select the best options for which tools to use in your specific case.
Healing time for gingivoplasty surgery is fast, and in as little as two weeks all sensitivity will be complete and you’ll have a new and wonderful smile.
